Work With Me
Ready for a custom coaching journey to regain your energy, rebuild routines, and feel like you again?
Maybe you’ve been told that each person’s burnout recovery is unique, or that it will arrive on its own terms. And those things are true! But that doesn’t mean you have to twiddle your thumbs and wait for the answer to just come to you.
I’m here to help.
I’ve overcome burnout twice in my career, survived the rat race of grad school, and finally created a lifestyle that is as productive as it needs to be – nothing more, nothing less.
Helping go-getters like you work through their burnout and build resilience is my passion.
If you’re at the point where you’ve lost sight of your best self, that you don’t know where he/she/they went, you’re in the right place.
I can help you remember your strengths and what lights you up.
I can help you draw boundaries with work.
I can empower you to find ways to make daily tasks easier and less soul-sucking.
…all so you can feel like yourself again and give this world the gift we all deserve – the best version of you.
My promises to you
I keep things factual (and sometimes funny).
I’m committed to staying rooted in facts. I stay within my scope of practice as a coach, make referrals when appropriate, use evidence-based behavior change methods, and ensure that any advice or resources I provide are research-backed and from reputable sources.
But also… it’s not just serious faces all the time. When appropriate, I bring joy and fun into my coaching sessions. That doesn’t mean we’ll be giggling every minute, but it does mean that we can crack some jokes and lighten up every so often. 🙂
We’ll think big picture and small details.
As someone feeling burned out, it’s possible you can’t even think ahead to tomorrow. I’ve been there. But once you’re feeling well enough, we’ll use a combination of big-picture goals and day-to-day habit changes to help you feel better. You can’t have one without the other.
And if that sounds at all intimidating, remember: I’ll be with you every step of the way.
It’s all about you.
This is your journey. You deserve to feel like you again. So our work together will be centered on you – not me, not your partner, not your kids, not some picture-perfect person you saw on social media – you.
If you’re driving this metaphorical car, I’m just in the passenger seat, helping keep us on track as we venture towards a more energetic, confident you.

Q & A

As a health & wellness coach, I do not offer diagnoses, treatments, or prescriptions. Please read my disclaimer for more detail.
If you or a loved one is concerned about your mental health, please seek support from a licensed therapist or medical professional.
Where I come in as a coach is when you are ready to re-energize and look forward. Together, we will work to use your strengths and values to set goals, make a plan, and get you back to the best version of yourself.

Tl;dr – no. Burnout can have many root causes. Our jobs are often a source of burnout, whether because of long hours or the work conflicting with our values. But a common reason people seek coaching is burnout in their home lives, whether from feeding their family or keeping house.
In short, if you’re feeling depleted and like a shell of yourself but feel ready to move forward, let’s chat.

Coaching sessions last 30 or 60 minutes. Our first session will be more exploratory, with time dedicated to learning more about you and your values and strengths (i.e., who you are when you’re at your best).
Beyond that, the client typically sets the direction of the session. The coach will ask a series of open-ended questions and guide reflection to uncover the client’s core motivations and values. The coach then uses these in concert with the client’s goals, skills, and existing support resources to partner in creating an action plan and preferred accountability.

Coaching and therapy are fundamentally different pursuits, but you may notice similarities in some of their practices.
While a therapist may help you deeply explore your past and its influence on you, a coach is a forward-thinking partner focused on your progress toward the future you. In coaching sessions, we willI acknowledge and honor your past experiences that have shaped you into the person you are today, but we will not dwell on or deeply explore those as we look toward the future.
One occasional similarity between therapy and coaching is the format of communication and dialogue. Coaches ask open-ended questions, reflect and observe words and actions, and may even invite you to participate in mindfulness exercises. Again, coaches do this all in the spirit of looking forward.
As part of my personal professional codes of ethics as a health coach, I have a duty to refer clients to a licensed mental health professional if a client's needs fall outside my scope as a coach.

Yes, I offer coaching to couples if we all agree we’d be a good fit. Success in a coaching relationship for couples relies on the couple having the same goal and equal enthusiasm for achieving this goal. Please note in your application whether you plan to pursue coaching as a couple.
Couples coaching has higher rates than 1:1 coaching. Please reach out for details.

It’s my goal to make coaching as accessible as possible. If you are interested in working together, please share in the application if you have any unique financial needs. I offer a limited number of need-based, sliding-scale coaching clients per quarter.
-
From December 17-31, 2024, I’m accepting applications for clients interested in working together in the first three months of 2025. I will aim to accept as many sliding-scale clients as I can, but it will be around 5 clients max.

I do not currently accept insurance.
The health and wellness coaching industry is changing rapidly and is actively advocating for more insurance companies to cover coaching.

It helps us both get a sense early on if we’ll be a good match or if another provider is better suited for you.

Maybe! My training is as a health & wellness coach primarily, and I have chosen to specialize in burnout.
If you have goals related to nutrition, movement, sleep, or other aspects of your well-being, please reach out to see how I might be able to support you.
